Singing for a Cure began as an annual concert to raise money for a selected cancer foundation. In 2010, the series expanded its outreach to focus on other devastating illnesses. While modern medicine has made great strides toward fighting diseases like cancer, diabetes, and ALS, we can still make a difference by supporting research and patient/family care. I am very proud to say that with these seven concerts, my colleagues and I have been able to raise over $30,000 for research and support. While I am pleased with our achievements thus far, I strongly believe that we must continue our work until these illnesses no longer pose a threat. I am looking forward to future benefit events.
